More than 150 eager young children, divided into three age groups, turned out for the City of Bethlehem Easter Egg Hunt March 19, despite cool temperatures. The city recreation department spread Easter eggs and candy on the large sloped lawn beneath the Memorial Pool along Illick’s Mill Road. Just Born Peeps packages in various Easter colors were part of the annual egg hunt. Special Easter prizes were awarded to young participants who were lucky enough to have a winning ticket in their plastic eggs with assorted candy.
