Ronald A. Zellner Sr., 80, of Whitehall, died March 14, 2016, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Carolyn J. (Schleicher) Zellner.

Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Thomas C. Sr. and Annamae (Williams) Zellner.

He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War era.

He was a machinist at Phoenix Forging Company, Catasauqua, for 32 years until he retired in 1998.

He was a member of American Club of Coplay, Northampton Liederkranz and Fullerton Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Luann C. Chuyko of Northampton, Ronald A. Jr. of Catasauqua and Lori A. Zellner of Northampton; a brother, Roger Zellner of Allentown; and two granddaughters, Ashley and Brittney.
