Frances C. Walakovits, 81, of Coplay, died March 9, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Walakovits.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Louis F. and Mary (Domitrovits) Gensits.

She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

She was a bookkeeper for the former Zeller’s Furniture, Allentown, and was currently at T.J. Maxx, Whitehall.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a son, Edward L. and his wife Joan Kneiss of Center Valley; two grandsons, Kurt and Ryan Walakovits of Center Valley; a brother, Louis J. and his wife Elaine Gensits of Whitehall; a sister, Hilda Newhard of Whitehall; three sisters-in-law, Pauline Dougherty of Illinois, Mary and her husband George Neupauer of Northampton and Catherine and her husband Charles Rosenberg of West Chester; and 11 nieces and nephews.
