There is a change with the March 26 Easter egg hunt sponsored by Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association. The association is dropping down the age limit to 8 and younger, discontinuing the event for 9- and 10-year-olds because of a lack of participation.
In other association matters, its food bank recipients will receive a full-course ham dinner for Easter.
The food bank requires proof of borough residency from people applying for the monthly food stipend.

Looking ahead, State Rep. Dan McNeill, D-133rd, will sponsor a seniors expo April 29 at Westgate Mall in Bethlehem.
Coplay Senior Citizens Club is expected to be well represented, along with other borough seniors.

Coplay Sports Inc. will have opening day ceremonies for baseball and softball programs April 30. The lights are on at the sports complex, where the youths have begun spring practice.
The organization will sponsor an 9U baseball tournament in July, a premier event bringing teams from across the region to the two fields.
Other tournaments for Coplay Sports include the first annual Wildcat Wiffleball Tournament July 23, followed by the sixth annual Steve Brosky Memorial Wiffleball Tournament July 30.
