Allentown Public Library, 1210 Hamilton St., Allentown, will be hosting a free concert with music from West Africa and beyond performed by Sean Gaskell 2 p.m. March 26.

Gaskell features traditional songs on the Kora, a 21-string harp that he learned how to play throughout the course of multiple visits to its homeland in Gambia, West Africa.

He has studied extensively under the instruction of Malamini Jobarteh and Moriba Kuyateh, both of Brikama, Gambia.

No tickets are required to attend.
