New Bethany Ministries--Major Accomplishments

• Over 100,000 people directly impacted in the past 30 years

• Over 360 families benefiting from the transitional housing since 1999

• Countless graduates from the transitional housing program moving to Wyandotte House’s seven apartments

• The transitional housing program’s evolution from a six-month to a three-month program while providing the support individuals need to regain control of their lives, while offering the space for families to live together as they receive the help they need

• Partnering with the Bethlehem Housing Authority to recognize and assist the homeless population

• Program expansion to Bethlehem (15 rooms), Coplay (21 rooms) and Allentown (six rooms) to provide shelter for the chronically homeless, many of whom suffer from mental health issues

• The organization provides the only area food bank that’s open five days a week

• It’s among the few places in the Lehigh Valley to offer showers – newly renovated as of March 1 – for anyone to use
