William S. Mizgerd Sr., 86, died March 5, 2016. He was the husband of Phyllis Mizgerd for 62 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Kozero) Mizgerd.

He was in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was a manager at McLellan and Haldeman Ford for 60 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jim and Will; a daughter, Michelle and her husband Greg Strohl; and six grandchildren, Andrew and his companion Lisa, Lindsey and her companion Derek, Chris, Daymian, Isiah and BJ.

He was predeceased by a brother, Tom.

There will be a viewing from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in the church foyer, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. March 10 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.
