Frederick J. Grimm, 68, of Whitehall, died Feb. 24, 2016, in his home. He was the husband of Mary C. (Maroney) Grimm for 44 years.

Born in East Orange, N.J., he was a son of the late Hilmar and Evelyn (McClay) Grimm.

He was in the U.S. Army and the Air Force Reserves.

He was a technician for Verizon Wireless for over 45 years before retiring.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sandra Jane and her husband John Ball of Whitehall; a son, Robert Frederick and his wife Danielle of Colorado; and two granddaughters, Lindsay and Sarah Ball.
