Edith I. Hangen, 91, of Emmaus, died March 7, 2016. She was the wife of the late Paul R.F. Hangen. Born in Zionsville, she was the daughter of the late S. Grover and Emma C. (Bartholomew) Carl.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy A., wife of Kenneth R. Holland, Jr.; son, Richard A., both of Emmaus; brother, Alan R. Carl and his wife, Alma, of Palm; grandchildren, Gregg, Eric, John and Leanna; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Dylan and Davyn. She was predeceased by sisters, Anna Ziegler and Dorothy Hagemes; brothers, Earl, Samuel and William Carl.

Services will be held noon March 11 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling hour will take place 11 a.m. until noon in the funeral home.
