Roberta M. Schantzenbach, 88, of Lower Macungie Township, died Feb. 29, 2016, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Schantzenbach who died Aug. 24, 2010. Born in Lower Macungie Township., she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Reda (Christman) Marsteller.
She was a member and volunteer at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus and was a graduate and class secretary of Emmaus High School, Class of 1945.
She was a sewing machine operator for the former Emmaus Shirt Factory for many years.
She is survived by a son, Rev. Scott and his wife, Jody, of Oxford, N.J.; daughters, Sandra and her husband Scott Berry, of Coopersburg and Susan and her husband Thayer Dolan, of Oak Ridge, N.C.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Helen and her husband Neil Kressley; brother, Edwin Marsteller and his wife, Evelyn; sister-in-law, Arlene Marsteller Lichtenenwalner. She was predeceased by a brother, Alvin Marsteller and sister, Geneve Knepp.

Services will be 11 a.m. March 4 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. March 4 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
