The Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, directed by Music Conductor Allan Birney, presents “An Afternoon with Mozart,” 4 p.m. March 6, Christ Lutheran Church, 1245 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
The program is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 33 in B Flat, K. 319, Divertimento in D, K. 136 and Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622.
Soloist for the concerto is Sinfonia principal clarinetist Terry Guidetti, who performs with 21 orchestra colleagues.
Mozart composed the Divertimento in D for strings in Salzburg when he was 16. Symphony No. 33 was written seven years later. The Clarinet Concerto was written at the end of Mozart’s life of 35 years.
