“This musical is an eclectic blend of modern music, an emotional roller coaster from laughing to crying, and speaks of the identity issues teens deal with every day,” says Adam Soto, director of Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School’s “Mirror: The Musical,” 7 p.m. March 10, 11, 12, Samuels Theatre, Cedar Crest College, 100 College Drive, Allentown.
“The music of this show will make you want to sing, dance, cry and even laugh,” says Soto, who teaches theater at Lincoln Leadership. Soto wrote the musical five years ago. The Lincoln Leadership production is the third time he’s directing it.
The musical tells the story of two teenagers who make a choice between their faith or fame, and a mother who wants the best for her two children. Soto, who directs a cast of 18, says, “It’s about seeing yourself in the mirror.“

Soto wrote the book for the show and music and lyrics for the songs, which include “Crazy Time,” “Win this Game,” “Who Are You,” “I Need a New Heart” and “Mirror.”
