Virgilio B. Roque, 94, of Allentown, died Feb. 17, 2016, in ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Isabel M. Roque for 63 years.

Born in Guayama, P.R., he was a son of the late Remigo and Trinidad (Bernier) Roque.

He was a corporal in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of both World War II and Korea.

He worked in the maintenance department of AARP, Bethlehem, until he retired. He had previously owned and operated a grocery store in New York City for several years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Daisy of Houston, Texas, Linda and her husband Peter Sneedon of Calif. and Rosalyn Quehn of Oklahoma; two sons, Virgil and his wife Debbie of Whitehall and Steven and his wife Rita of Allentown; 22 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother, Hermino in Puerto Rico; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Hector; and a sister, Paquita Gonzalez.
