Mary J. Toth, 96, formerly of Whitehall and a former resident of Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton, died Feb. 23, 2016, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Toth for 65 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Ann (Karner) Jandris.
She was a sewing machine operator for 20 years at various local mills until she retired in 1960.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Coplay.
She was a member of Coplay Saengerbund.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia and her husband Eugene Huber of Quakertown and Joan and her husband Julius Nickischer of Whitehall; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven sisters, Anna Nickischer, Helen Feichtl, Emma Durgee, Cecil Catino, Margaret Glickman, Lillian Rodgers and Rose Moore.
She was predeceased by five siblings, Johanna, Agnes Behler, Martin, Joseph and John.
