Reported by a woman, 77, of Macungie, an attempt to use her credit card without approval at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:27 p.m. Jan. 17.

Two 18-year-old females, of Weatherly, are accused of retail theft after store personnel observed them placing items in a purse in Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:10 p.m. Feb. 14. The women paid for a few items and left the store. They were called back into the store and brought back $64 worth of stolen merchandise.

Shannan Kendra Sherwood, 22, of Wilmington, Del., has been charged with retail theft after police investigation of an incident at Giant food store, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 6:31 p.m. Nov. 17, 2015. In the incident two suspects allegedly were seen on video surveillance concealing $279.39 worth of merchandise including Gillette razors, crab meat and other merchandise and leaving the area in a dark colored sedan with Delaware license plate 345721. Charges against Sherwood were filed at District Court 31-3-02.

Police investigation continues into identifying a white male with an average build and blonde hair. The man was wearing a green Philadelphia Eagles hat with a black brim and circular sticker on the brim, a dark colored zip up hooded sweatshirt with gray lining, blue jeans and brown and black boots. Tammy Heiserman, 39, of Lehighton, was arrested for retail theft after she allegedly attempted to wheel a shopping cart containing $633.43 worth of merchandise out of Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, without paying 5:19 p.m. Feb. 14. Heiserman was transported to Lehigh County Prison for processing.

Reported by an Orefield man, 73, in the parking lot of Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, windshield wipers were found to be broken when he returned from shopping between 4:20 and 4:45 p.m. Feb. 16.

John Francis Kane, 48, of Zionsville, was taken into custody Feb. 19 on an arrest warrant issued in an alleged incident at a residence in the 6700 block of Batman Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:35 p.m. Feb. 17. Kane was taken to Lehigh County Booking Center for processing.

Reported at Wingate Hotel, 4325 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged the rear driver’s side window of a vehicle and removed a laptop computer between Feb. 5 and 6. Anyone with information about this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
