Frederick C. Wilhelm, 69, of Zionsville, died Feb. 18, 2016, in Kirkland Village. He was the husband of Karen A. (Burmeister) Wilhelm, with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage on Feb. 8.

He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earned his master’s degree in chemistry from Loyola.

He was a research chemist for Air Products for over 30 years, retiring in 2013.

He was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.

He is survived by his wife; son, Andrew C. and his wife Rachel M. Rumann, of Queens, N.Y.; daughter, Kiersten A. and her husband Shawn Falchetti, of Dallas; granddaughter, Emma; sister, Bonnie Wegner, of Cedarburg, Wis.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 24 in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
