Rosa Binder, 82, of Center Valley and formerly of Stiles, died Feb. 12, 2016, at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Center Valley. She was the wife of the late Erich Binder for 48 years.

Born in Zahling, Austria, she was a daughter of the late Josef and Aloisia (Wunderler) Stangl and the adoptive daughter of Joseph and Anna Dieber.

She was a seamstress for local garment mills.

She was a member of and a cook for West Coplay Maennerchor.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda and her husband Kurt Shumberger of Center Valley; a son, John and his wife Susan also of Center Valley; five grandchildren, Kurt E. G., John Jr., James, Jeffrey and Shannon; and a sister, Helen Posch of Austria.
