Mary E. Potak

Mary E. Potak, 84, of Allentown, died Feb. 10, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Theodore Potak.

Born in Chelsea Township, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Blanche (Woodling) Reside.

She was a graduate of Pilgrim Holiness College where she earned a degree in religion.

She attended God’s Missionary Church, Northampton, where she counted the offering and was a Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by three sons, John R. of Allentown, William D. and his wife Sharon of Shenandoah and Michael E. of Allentown; a daughter, Elizabeth A. of Whitehall; three sisters, Ruth Engrim of Smyrna, Del., Martha Clendanie of Batavia, N.Y. and Miriam and her husband Collis Dixon of Cherryville; and a grandson, Attila Jervelycke in Sweden.

She was predeceased by a brother, John Reside; and two sisters, Helen Wilson and Naomi Reside.
