Dorothy M. Salter, 88, formerly of Coplay, died Feb. 12, 2016, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Burt A. Salter Jr.

Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Arnold E. and Anna (Keshel) Theiss.

She was a sales clerk for the former Stanley Peters Office Supply, Whitehall.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Coplay, where she was a member of the choir and the consistory.

She is survived by a son, Keith T. and his wife Sharon Salter of Lebanon; a daughter, Deborah and her husband Lester Race of Easton; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Charles Theiss; and a sister, Margaretta Lentz.

There will be a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by the service at 10 a.m., both on Feb. 20 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, 18037.
