Nicholas “Bumper” Rompilla Jr., 73, of Fullerton, died Feb. 3, 2016, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Darlene M. (Livering) Rompilla for 46 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Pauline (Krikovich) Rompilla Sr.

He was a self-employed painter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Nicholas III and his wife Kimberly (Clause) of Bethlehem; a daughter, Deanna Connor and her companion Todd Pearce of Clarksboro, N.J.; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Katherine, William and Aidan; a sister and caregiver Sandra Whitby; and six siblings.

He was predeceased by a brother, Richard.
