A Macungie man was charged with retail theft after he removed approximately $40 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:27 p.m. Feb. 3. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Conner Eric Higgins, 19, of Macungie, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly took $1.59 worth of merchandise from Giant, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 4:51 p.m. Jan. 31. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Reported by Velo Bike Shop, 6465 Village Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed bicycle parts valued at $1,500 between Jan. 1 and Jan. 9. The investigation continues.

Stephanie Perez-Colon, 18, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly attempted to steal $352.26 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:10 p.m. Jan. 27. All items were recovered, according to police. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Joseph Noel DeJesus, 19, and Crystal Ann Niessen, 37, both of Lenhartsville, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly attempted a scam at Kohl’s department store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 12:52 p.m. Dec. 11, 2015. According to police, DeJesus allegedly removed $63.44 worth of merchandise from the store, took the items out to the parking lot and handed the merchandise to Niessen who then allegedly went back to the store and returned the merchandise for the value of the stolen items. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

A juvenile male of Alburtis was arrested and issued a non-traffic citation for summary offense retail theft after he attempted to remove $49.88 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:45 p.m. Jan. 28. The youth was stopped by store personnel.

Jerry Suarez Gutierrez, 33, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly was spotted by store personnel leaving Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, removing two 40-inch televisions 3:40 p.m. Jan. 31. Gutierrez later was caught and found to have the televisions. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

John Armas Milici, 24, of Mertztown, was taken into custody for retail theft after store personnel at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, contacted police. When police arrived Milici allegedly was seen tossing items into the garbage. The items later were found to be drug paraphernalia.

Reported at Grace Community Church, 1290 Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered a vehicle and removed a wallet from the front seat between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 25. Anyone with information on this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 1600 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed a wallet from a vehicle Jan. 28. This incident remains under investigation.

Reported in the 7600 block of Grant Road, Lower Milford Township, unknown actors removed money from a wallet found in the front seat of a vehicle between 6 p.m. Feb. 1 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 2. Anyone with information on this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 6100 block of Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors forced entry into a residence between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 29. The unknown actors fled and nothing was reported taken.

Reported in the 7500 block of Salem Bible Church, Upper Milford Township, an unknown actor entered the residence through a side entrance 3:45 p.m. Jan. 29. The person, described as a white male of unknown age, searched several rooms in the residence before leaving without taking any items. A white box truck with dual rear tires was in the area at the time, according to police. The investigation continues.

Brian Charles Snyder, 50, of Allentown, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Hamilton Boulevard at Kressler Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:15 p.m. Feb. 2. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Reported by a resident in the 5000 block of Town Square Drive, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor used the resident’s credit card information to make several unauthorized transactions totaling $948.98 between 9 p.m. Feb. 1 and 9:24 a.m. Feb. 2. The investigation continues.

Reported by a resident in the 1000 block of Village Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor used the resident’s credit card information to make two unauthorized transactions totaling $583.99 Jan. 28.

Gabriel Andrew Hinojosa-Valencia, 26, of Allentown and March Braheim-Khalil, 23, of New Tripoli, were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:15 p.m. Feb. 3. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Reported by a resident in the 2500 block of Greenhouse Lane, Lower Milford Township, unknown individuals opened multiple cellphone accounts with Verizon and AT&T using the resident’s name Jan. 16. The actors also bought a cellphone.

Reported by a resident of Pinewind Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a fraudulent federal tax form was filed in the resident’s name between 9 p.m. Feb.1 and 9:24 a.m. Feb. 2.

A 52-year-old man, of Macungie, was charged with harassment after he grabbed the wrist of a 40-year-old male, of Easton, during an argument in the 5400 block of St. Peterson Road, Upper Milford Township, 6:59 p.m. Jan. 27. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-03.
