William (Bill) G. Gasdaska, Sr., 87, of Emmaus and Houston, died January 12, 2016, at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Memorial City, Houston, Texas. He was the husband of the late Eleanor Gasdaska. They were married for more than 63 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Ament) Gasdaska.

He and his wife met at the former Western Electric in Allentown where they both worked. He served in the armed forces and worked at Air Products and Mack Trucks in Allentown.

He was a graduate of Liberty High School and was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Houston.

He is survived by sons, Bill Jr. and John; daughter, Jane and son-in-law, Scoop Carlile; three grandchildren, Cooper, Analiese and Julian; brothers, Robert and George. He was predeceased by a daughter Mary-Ellen and an infant son; sisters, Frances and Theresa.
