Eleanor M. Wuchter, 85, of North Catasauqua, died Jan. 30, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg campus. She was the wife of Earl H. Wuchter for 61 years.
She was a daughter of the late Eleanor B. Frederick.
She was a 1948 graduate of Allentown High School.
She was, for many years, an Avon lady. She was previously a pet department clerk at J.J. Newberry’s, Northampton.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton, where she sang in the chancel choir and was a soloist. She was a cherub choir mother for many years.
She preformed in various local theater productions.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Ken; and two daughters, Carol Wuchter and Linda Powell, all of Northampton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Lauren Krupa; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Wuchter; and a son-in-law, Scott Powell.
There will be a viewing 9:45-10:45 a.m. in the church parlor, followed by a service 11 a.m., all Feb. 5 at the church, 575 Grape St., Whitehall, 18052.
Contributions may be made to the church.
