Richard A. Heller Sr., 79, of Allentown, died Jan. 22, 2016, at Praxis, Easton. He was the husband of Joan D (Dougherty) Heller for 57 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Sylvester and Arabella (Souders) Heller.

He was a HVAC technician for various companies.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard A. Jr. of Allentown and Jimmy D. and his fiancé Karyn Oboyle of Catasauqua; three daughters, MaryLou Kurapka and her companion Valerie Beahm and Diane L. Kuhns and her companion Eddie Godreau, all of Allentown, and Tammy L. Grimm and her companion Michael Matsatsos of Camden, Del.; two brothers, Joseph of Allentown and Kenneth of Breinigsville; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Randy; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis; four brothers; and three sisters.
