Dodgeball tournament registration deadline Feb. 26
Congratulations to Salisbury High School seniors Matthew Fainor and Olivia King for being named Winter Ball Prince and Princess at the dance Jan. 18.
Senior portraits must be submitted for yearbook inclusion by Jan. 30. Photos may be submitted to the EYAS Yearbook in one of two ways: digital proof submission or a hard copy.
If a photo is digitally submitted, the picture cannot include a watermark and it should be attached to an email to shspress@salisburysd.org. A JPEG is preferred.
A hard copy must be a wallet size only (2.5 inches by 3.5 inches) for both hard copy and digital prints. The hard copy of the photo must be dropped off at the school office in an envelope marked with the senior’s name, the date the photograph was submitted and a contact phone number the yearbook staff can use for any concerns or questions.
It is recommended seniors wear formal or semi-formal clothing in their portraits. The SHS dress code will be strictly enforced for photo submissions. Both traditional and unique poses are acceptable but must align with school rules and regulations for appropriate conduct.
Submissions for senior baby photos are also due Jan. 30. For additional information about senior portraits, contact Joseph Pacitti at jpacitti@salisburysd.org.
The Class of 2016 is having a Krispy Kreme fundraiser. There is a cost per dozen and orders are due by Feb. 4. Orders will be delivered Feb. 9. Checks should be made payable to “SHS Class of 2016.” Orders can be filled by any student in the senior class, so place your orders.
Student Government Advisory will host the fourth annual dodgeball tournament 6:30 to 9 p.m. March 17 in the gym.
The tournament will be limited to 15 teams and one all-star faculty team, so all registration packets and payments will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Registration packets will be available Feb. 1 in the counseling office. All forms, including the team registration form and emergency forms, must be submitted by noon Feb. 26.
No teams will be accepted after this deadline. There is a registration cost. All teams must include a faculty or staff member, no exceptions.
The team “The 4 D’s” from Whitehall High School, will attend to defend last’s year’s title. In addition, invitations will be extended to other area high schools.
Contact Michael Anderson in the school counseling office with questions or for information.
