Clarence H. “Bud” George, 89, of Wescosville, died Jan. 21, 2016, at home. He was the husband of Virginia E. George. They celebrated 61 years of marriage in March. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clarence J. and Mabel L. George.
He and his brother, Luther, “George Bros.,” built high quality custom homes for over 50 years. They are descendants of Davy Crocket.
He was a member of the Western Lehigh Lions Club, was a Freemason and belonged to the Shriner’s.
He was a member of Hope U.C.C., Allentown.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife; son, Barry C. and his wife, Alexandria; daughters, Donna, Sarah and her husband Dave Kiechel, Laura and her husband Bill Bachenberg; brother, Luther; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 27, at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will begin 10 a.m.
