Myrtle “Micki” G. Becker, 84, of Luther Crest and formerly of Northampton, died Jan. 14, 2016, in her residence.

She was the wife of the late Raymond S. Becker Jr.

Born in Chester, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Myrtle W. (Wiegand) Gotee.

She was an elementary school music teacher in the Allentown and Northampton Area school districts. She won the Allentown Teacher of the Year award. She owned a private music studio and was a choir director.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond III and his wife Janet of Oklahoma and Matthew B. and his wife Brenda Weckerly of Hatfield; two daughters, Marcia and her husband Thomas K. Heinick of Kunkletown and Ronda and her husband Matthew Gerry of Schnecksville; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
