Liberty High School’s boys’ swim team defeated Pocono Mountain East 92-73, and the Hurricane girls also defeated Pocono Mountain East 95-62 last week.

Kendra Smith, Jessica Becker, Theresa Cazarrubias, and Audrey Layne won the 200 medley relay in 2:06.49, and Jase Smith, Nolan Vanatta, Reid Rossi, and Robert Negron also won the medley relay in 1:41.64.

Kay Wetmore and Christopher Chambers won the 200 free in 2:09.57 and 1:55.62, respectively. Jocelyn Baker placed first in the 200 IM in 2:21, as did Maggie Walters and Negron in the 50 free in 26.11 and 21.31, respectively.

Walters and Negron also won the 100 free. Walters’s time was 57.55 and Negron’s time was 49.26.

In the 100 butterfly, Kayla Drago took first place in 1:02.31, and Rossi placed first in 56.68. Sabrina Krotzer won the 500 free in 5:53.06.

Jase Smith, John Buttillo, Anthony Delcorso, and Negron came in first in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:34.65.

Taking first place in the 100 breaststroke were Jessica Becker in 1:14.63 and Vanatta in 1:02.40.

Julia Stisser, Emma Reilly, Kay Wetmore, and Anna Lehr were first in the 400 free relay in 4:30.68.
