James R. Davies, 56, of Emmaus and State College, died Jan. 8, 2016, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. He was the son of the late Ogden Davies and Helen (Young) Davies.

He is survived by a daughter, Jamie and her husband Clifford Lick Jr.; grandchildren, Clifford and Raena; brothers, Clifford and his wife, Robin, Joseph and his wife Judy; sisters, Judith and her husband Tom and Kathy; nieces and nephews, Toby, Andy, Jen, Dana, Ryan, Joseph, Kaylee, Pete, Steve and Kyle.

A memorial service will be held 2 to 6 p.m. Jan. 31 at Fire Company No. 1 in Emmaus. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
