Harry C. Hillegass, Sr., 88, of Emmaus, died Dec. 31, 2015. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William and Pearl (Hinkle) Hillegass.

He worked for the specialty gas division of Air Products & Chemicals.

He served his country during World War II in the United States Army.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna Lee and her husband Todd Eargle; son, Harry “Chip” C. Jr.; sisters, Evelyn Keller and Ella Mae Wagner; granddaughter, Dana Lyn.
