Eva “Eve” Weikel Miller, 94, formerly of Limeport, died Jan. 11, 2016, in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Allyn Carl Miller. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Hattie (Weikel) Beidler.
Before retiring in 1985, she worked in the East Penn School District elementary school cafeterias and prior as a clerk for the former Rockels Department Store, Emmaus.
She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown and a prior member of Chestnut Hill Church, Coopersburg.
She was a great Nana to her family and enjoyed dancing, cooking and baking as well as her crafts.
She is survived by a son, Dannye and his wife Rita, of Allentown; daughter, Karen Werley, of Lehighton; sisters, Lena McElwain, of Ephrata, Mabel Koehler, of Quakertown; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o the funeral home, 18102.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Jan. 15, at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. Calling will begin 9:30 a.m.
