There will be no school Jan. 18 for a teacher in-service day.

When school is closed, delayed or has an unscheduled early dismissal, the district’s automated alert system, Connect Ed, will notify parents, if they are registered.

Northwestern Elementary

Northwestern Lehigh Elementary School is looking for donations of any unused iPhone 5s or higher, with chargers. Flip phones will not work.

The school will be using them with a new app called “I Am Cardboard.” Students will use them for virtual tours.

There is a Partner In Education meeting at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 7.

The Boosterthon fun run will take place on Feb. 10.
