A 26-year-old Hellertown male was charged with retail theft after he placed multiple items in two stolen backpacks in Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:28 p.m. Dec. 18. The male fled from store personnel. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Stacey Mack, 34, of Emmaus, allegedly concealed products valued at $58.68 and attempted to flee without paying for the items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:51 p.m. Dec. 18. Mack was arraigned at Lehigh County Central Booking.
Christine Torres, 42, of Allentown, allegedly removed $231.90 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 16. Torres allegedly was located at her residence in possession of the stolen merchandise and arrested. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Reported by a resident in the 4700 block of Somerset Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors threw rocks at the victim’s residence causing damage to the garage door. Anyone with information about this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported by a resident in the 1900 block of Riverbend Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors broke a mailbox with an unknown object 11:13 p.m. Dec. 19. The actors fled the scene in a beige sedan.
Reported by residents in the 8300 and 8400 blocks of Walbert Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors drove a truck tractor and semi-trailer through yards and driveways around 3 p.m. Dec. 17.
Police allegedly responded to the fourth false alarm in a 12-month period to Clothes Mentor, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:43 p.m. Dec. 2 resulting in a citation for control of alarm devices and automatic dialing devices filed in District Court 31-3-02.
State Police at Fogelsville are investigating burglaries at two stores in Lower Macungie Township in which thieves took cash, cigarettes and surveillance equipment.
According to police, unknown actors pried open a drive-thru window at a Dunkin’ Donuts location to enter the store and then smashed the window at the nearby store Beverage and Smoke between 12:30 and 4 a.m. Nov. 22. The businesses share the address of 6366 Hamilton Blvd.
The actors took cash, cigarettes, surveillance equipment and computer server equipment, according to police.
