Joan P. Luckenbill, 83, of North Catasauqua, died Dec. 19, 2015. She was the wife of the Rev. Dr. Roy K. Luckenbill for 64 years.

She was a 1950 graduate of Cressona High School.

She was an accomplished artist. She supported her husband in his 50 years of pastoral ministry, where she was active in the church, and was a soloist, choir director, pianist and Vacation Bible School teacher.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Joy and her husband Michael Gravely and Barbara and her husband Michael Seitz; a daughter-in-law, Judith, wife of the late Roy “Bud” Luckenbill Jr.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Hoy; and two sisters, Carole Gehring and Gail Knauff.

She was predeceased by a son; and three brothers.
