Douglas A. Jackson, Jr. and Douglas A. “Dougie” Jackson, III died Dec. 17, 2015. Douglas Jackson Jr. was born in Dover and grew up in Mt. Olive Township. He was the husband of Lisa (Ramezzana) Jackson for 22 years. He lived in Great Meadows before moving to Macungie 17 years ago. He was the father of Brittney and Douglas, III.
He was a store manager at the Home Depot for 23 years and this year was the store manager at the Big Lots.
He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University and was a member of St. Ann R.C. Church, Emmaus. His family was his whole life.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Brittney; brother, William D., of Hackettstown; sister, Judy M. Czako, of Hillsborough; stepsisters, Samantha LeValley and Stephanie L. DePinto; mother and stepfather, Beverly A. Jackson Carr and Jeffrey T. Carr, of Budd Lake.
Douglas A. “Dougie” Jackson, III was born in Denville and lived in Great Meadows before moving to Macungie 17 years ago. He was a retail clerk at the Giant Foods store in Trexlertown and was completing his degree at the Lehigh Carbon Community College. He was also an avid bowler.
He was the son of Lisa and Douglas Jackson, Jr. and brother, of Brittney Jackson. He also leaves his paternal grandparents Beverly A. Jackson Carr and Jeffrey Carr, of Budd Lake and maternal grandparents Jack and Bernice Ramezzana, of Toms River.
