Sterling A. Rothrock, 94, of Walnutport, died Dec. 14, 2015, in his home. He was the husband of the late Marguerite (Gilbert) Rothrock.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Arlo and Esther (Newhard) Rothrock.

He was an electrical inspector for 34 years for the former Atlas Cement Company, Northampton, until he retired in 1980.

He was a lifelong Northampton County farmer.

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Northampton.

He is survived by five children, Doris G. of Walnutport, Linda G. and her husband Andy Schurawlow of Brodheadsville, David G. and his wife Karen of Walnutport, Debra G. of Nescopeck and Lorene G. and her husband Bill Hume of Walnutport; a brother, Gordon Rothrock of Slatington; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
