Patrick Erney, 23, of Whitehall, died Dec. 9, 2015, at his home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Michael P. Erney, with whom he resided, and Karen M. (Jones) and her husband James Dietrich of Whitehall.

He was a 2010 Whitehall High School graduate.

He was a machinist at Custom Alloys, Highbridge, N.J.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Nicholas A. Erney of Whitehall; paternal grandmother, Barbara A. (Clauser) Erney and her companion Raymond H. Hartranft of Catasauqua; and maternal grandparents, Roland W. and Maria A. (Grube) Jones of Whitehall.
