Merritt W. Moyer, 83, of Walnutport, died Dec. 11, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Lorraine Mae (Roth) Moyer.

He was the son of the late Paul and Elsie (Weitknecht) Moyer.

He worked for many years at Kraft Foods until he retired.

He is survived by three sons, Neal and his wife Kristy Moyer of Walnutport, Matthew and his wife Lisa Moyer of Walnutport and William and his wife Linda Swartz of Minersville; a daughter, Christina and her husband Larry Pritchard of Coplay; two brothers, Quentin Moyer of Walnutport and Dale Moyer of Northampton; a sister, Jeanette Wentzell of Danielsville; and four grandchildren, Kyle and Loran Prichard and James and Katelynn Moyer.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Julie Ann.

There will be a calling hour 1-2 p.m., followed by a funeral service 2 p.m., both Dec. 18, at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.
