The Northwestern Lehigh High School Guidance Department is continuing the tradition of trying to make Christmas a little more special for families of high school students in the district.

The guidance counselors have identified at least 65 families who could use help this holiday season.

The need this year is greater than ever before.

Gift cards may be from from Giant, Weis, Walmart, Kohl’s, Target or other stores to be donated to these families.

The card can be for any amount. Average denomination is $20 per card.

Gift cards will be collected and given to the High School Guidance Office for distribution, allowing parents to shop for their own families.

The families will remain anonymous. Only the guidance counselors will have contact with them.

Donations will assist with the purchase of gifts, food and other items to make the holidays memorable.

Drop off gift cards as soon as possible.
