Middle School

The middle school winter concert will be presented 7 p.m. Dec. 14 in the auditorium.

High School

The high school guidance department has identified at least 65 families who could use help this holiday season.

Community members are asked to purchase a gift card from Giant, Weis, Walmart, Kohl’s, Target, etc., to be donated to these families.

The cards can be for any amount.

Gift cards will be collected and given to the guidance office for distribution, allowing parents to shop for their own families.

The families will remain anonymous.

Donations will assist with the purchase of gifts, food and other items to make the holidays memorable.

Drop off gift cards on or before Dec. 14.

There will be early dismissal Dec. 23. Afternoon kindergartners are to attend the morning session.

The Christmas holiday runs Dec. 24 through Jan. 1, 2016.

Northwestern Elementary

The fifth-grade winter concert is scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 10. Snow date for this event is Dec. 11.

Family bingo night will take place 6 p.m. Dec. 11 in the high school cafeteria. The community is invited to attend this evening of bingo fun.

Grandparents Day is Dec. 16.

The kindergartners will perform 9:30 a.m. for their grandparents.

All kindergarten students will report in the morning that day.
