Senior Adults Gaining Enrichment, an outreach program of Penn State Lehigh Valley for adults age 55 and older, will host speaker Bob Swaim, a retired math teacher-turned-entertainer for a lecture titled “The Slinky and Other Human Powered Toys.”

The lecture will be presented Dec. 4, in room 135 at Penn State Lehigh Valley, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley.

Swaim will share his thoughts on this “fun and wonderful toy” along with some other eco-friendly options for playtime.

Each SAGE session begins with coffee 10:30 a.m., followed by the featured speaker 11 a.m. and lunch noon.

There is a cost for the lecture which includes lunch.

YWCA Bethlehem will host women’s health workshops for women 40 and over, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4 and 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 7, at PA CareerLink Lehigh Valley, 555 Union Blvd., Allentown, 18109.

Edie Gliem, a nurse- educator, will present information about breast health, cancer prevention, risk-factors and mammograms and information about free mammograms
