Dorothy S. Crawshaw, 87, of Emmaus, formerly of Allentown, died Nov. 19, 2015. She was the wife of the late Alan S. Crawshaw. Born in Ashland, (Schuylkill County), she was a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Emily L. (Lindenmuth) Sturm.

She was a registered nurse in charge of the health center at Kutztown University for 20 years, retiring in 1990. Prior, she worked for the Visiting Nurses of Lycoming County for 20 years. She also worked 10 summers as a nurse at various camps in Pennsylvania for children with disabilities.

She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, South Whitehall Township.

She is survived by daughters, Dr. Linda S., of Wellsboro, and Christina E. and her husband Paul J. Leiby, of Schnecksville, A. Shirley Hornung, of Harrisburg; granddaughters, Jessica and Emily Leiby. She was predeceased by a son, Alan S. and siblings, Bobby, Arthur, Kenneth, Harold and sister, Gladys.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the O’Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown.
