Shari L. Patterson, 50, of Emmaus, died Nov. 15, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Steven Patterson. They were married 25 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Gerald Stoudt, Sr. and Judith (Crouse) Stoudt.

She was a 1983 graduate of Southern Lehigh High School and was a chef at Cedar Crest College for the last four years. Previously, she was employed at Wegmans, Allentown, for 14 years.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown.

She loved to cook, was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, especially of the New York Mets and Miami Dolphins, and was an animal lover.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Hayley, at home; father and his wife, Pat, of Allentown; mother, of Wescosville; brother, Gerald, Jr., of Philadelphia; stepbrother, Ted Lucas, of Bath; stepsister, Tami Patterson, of Macungie; canine companions, Frisco and Angus.

Services will be held 8 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown. Call 6 p.m. until time of service.
