Ray S. Adam

Ray S. Adam, 90, of Emmaus, died Nov. 15, 2015, in Devon House. He was the husband of the late Vivian L. (Stoudt) Adam. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Lee and Mamie (Fink) Adam.

He worked for Firestone and later Oxi Chemical Corporation 43 years, retiring in 1986.

He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.

He was a Marine veteran serving in World War II.

He was an avid bowler.

He is survived by a daughter, Terri R. Sheer, of Emmaus; granddaughter, Jessica wife of James Stover, of Coopersburg.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Nov. 20 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
