William T. “Billy” Hilferty, Jr., 73, of Macungie, died Nov. 1, 2015, All Souls Day. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late William T. Hilferty, Sr. and Anna K. (Hotsko) Hilferty.

He was a former member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Chapter #589, Jim Thorpe.

He is survived by two brothers, Fr. John G., of Macungie and Edward and his wife Judith, of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Louise Tancredi and Kathleen and her husband Joseph Staszeski, both of Southampton; maternal uncle, George Hotsko and his wife Mary, of Allentown; nieces and nephews.
