Robert “Bob” L. Eberhart, 72, of Lehighton, and formerly of Catasauqua, died Oct. 31, 2015.

Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Henry and Priscilla (Sperlbaum) Eberhart.

He was an outbound dock supervisor for Ward Trucking for 10 years until he retired. Prior to that, he worked for P.I.E. and PJAX Trucking services.

He was the charter president of Catasauqua Area Lions Club from 1972 to 1973. He was a zone chairman and a youth exchange chairman of Lion’s District 14K.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine Eberhart of Blandon; two grandchildren, Kaylie and Kyle Vrabel; two sisters, Rita Medence and Carolyn and her husband Dennis O’Donnell, all of North Catasauqua; nieces; nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
