Merritt M. Sell, Sr., 87, of Salisbury Township, died Nov. 4, 2015, at home. He was the loving husband of Barbara E. (George) Sell. They were married 67 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clifford and Florence (Clader) Sell.
He worked in delivery and as a salesman for 12 years at Maiers Bakery before retiring. Prior to that he was a truck driver and plant manager for 28 years at Eastern Overall.
He served his country honorably in the Army during World War II.
He was a 59 year member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Allentown.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Merritt M., Jr. and his wife, Robyn, of Whitehall, Jeffrey D. , Sr. and his wife Deborah, of Allentown; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
