Anna E. Werley, 80, of Alburtis, died Nov. 5, 2015, at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the wife of Edward C. Werley 38 years last December. Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Erna (Roberts) Mack.
She was a farmer’s wife all of her life in Weisenberg and Lynn townships.
She was also a clerk for 30 years at S. Clyde Weaver at the Allentown Farmer’s Market.
She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Beverly and her husband Gary Snyder, of Orefield, Cynthia Scholl, of Allentown; sons, Brian Madtes and his wife Jennifer, of San Antonio, Texas, Dennis Madtes, of Alexandria, Va., Lamar Madtes and his wife Faye and Sidney Madtes, both of New Tripoli; brothers, Ray Mack and his wife Lorraine, of Slatington, Kenneth Mack, of Lehighton, Arnold Mack and his wife Beverly, of Arizona and Mark Mack and his wife Beverly, of Palmerton; sisters, Erma Feinour, of New Jersey, Mae Vogel, of Slatington, Nancy Mack, of Allentown and Betty and her husband Richard Bobal, of Slatington; stepchildren, Lisa and her husband Rich Moyer, of Jacksonville, N.C., Nona and her husband Peter Hubbard, of Raymond, N.H., and Dana and her husband Judd Edwards, of Melbourne, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
