Esther M. (Hein) Laub, 95, formerly of Coplay, died Oct. 29, 2015, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Laub.

Born in Upper Saucon Township, she was a daughter of the late George E. Sr. and Tillie I. (Stauffer) Hein.

She was a domestic, cleaning homes and apartments in the Lehigh Valley for more than 22 years until she retired.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, where she was a former Sunday school teacher for 30 years and a member of the A. L. Held Bible class.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda M. Schadler of Laurys Station; a son, Alfred E. of Silver Lake, Kan.; a brother, the Rev. George E. Jr. and his wife Loretta Hein of Lebanon; and four grandchildren, Vickie Lynn, Alan E., Jason M. and Joel W. Laub.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Ralph and Emmanuel Hein, and a son-in-law, Richard C. Schadler.
