Robert E. Durnin, 62, of Emmaus, formerly of Allentown, died Oct. 15, 2015, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Mary E. (Lenahan) Durnin. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William B. and Elizabeth (Dennis) Durnin.

He was the president of the former American Lawn Equipment in South Whitehall Township since 2007. Concurrently, he was the president of H & R Services, Inc., in Trexlertown for 18 years.

He was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

He is survived by his wife; children, Robert W. and Hannah R., both of Allentown; sisters, Rita and her husband Robert Linn, of Emmaus, Lisa, of Delaware; sister-in-law, Amy, of Fleetwood. He was predeceased by brothers, William B. III and John.
